Bug fixes and Changelogs v1.3


Hello! Another quick update for the game!

Below are the list of things that has been added, fixed and changed within the demo.

Bugs fixed

  • The game over fail load scene when answering the phone in security room has been properly fixed.
  • Virtual pad image showing when entering the candle room has been fixed.
  •  Invisible barrier removed in the basement hallway after the events.
  •  Fixed the items being used for the main character such as the rusted key and hot coffee.
  • Fixed the phone ringing sound effect panning.
  • Fixed the image call bug in the security room after solving the symbol puzzle.

Changelogs

  • Added a short hint message in the basement area.
  • Some dialogues has been updated/changed.
  • Provides better interaction with the environment.
  • Puzzle items and usable items has been updated.
  • Window skin had some minor changes. Added a new idle arrow and a new scroll arrows. (Image sample shown below)

There are not much graphical changes for this update but I do hope that some of the bug concerns has been properly fixed now. I'm planning to add another 2 puzzles in this demo that will further affect the story as well as the replayability of the game! So stay tuned for that! 

An objective system/Journal system is also being tested and awaiting finalization in order to help the player in getting "back on track" while exploring the game to prevent confusion on the next objective.

For now, this concludes the update v1.3 for Dwelling Nightmares demo.
